IMF Gets More Lending Resources for Poor Nations

Denmark and Spain will help raise the International Monetary Fund’s lending resources to low-income nations reeling from the impact of the global economic crisis. Under a borrowing agreement with the Danmarks Nationalbank, Denmark will offer USD305 million in new loan resources for low-income nations. Meanwhile, Spain, through the Bank of Spain, will provide USD617 million.
