IMF Lauds Yemen Economic Reforms

Several economic reforms carried out by the Yemenese government helped control the country’s budget deficit and inflation rate despite the effects of the global financial crisis and declining price of oil and production, the International Monetary Fund’s mission in the country said according to Saba News Agency. The IMF mission met on March 3 with Yemenese officials, including Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhab, to discuss future cooperation plans.
