IMF OKs USD790M Deal With El Salvador

    To help El Salvador cope with the effects of the global economic crisis, the International Monetary Fund has endorsed a 36-month, standby agreement with the Central American nation. The USD790 million agreement will support El Salvador’s economic program on improving the nation’s road network, power generation and social programs.
