Indian state road works assisted by Japanese agency

The Japanese Development Bank and Karnataka are ironing out the remaining details of a USD200 million soft loan agreement that is intended to finance maintenance and development procedures of the Indian state’s major district roads. Some 37,000 kilometers along Karnataka’s main thoroughfare require maintenance and repairs, according to the state’s Public Works department.
