Intellectual Property Eyed as Key to Industrial Development

    The United Nations Industrial Development Organization and World Intellectual Property Organization have joined forces to push technological and trade innovations in developing countries. The two U.N. bodies are banking on knowledge creation, whose value had risen to USD1.1 trillion in 2009, as a way to spur industrial growth.
