CANBERRA — The analysis of contracts awarded by the African Development Bank in 2018 shows a strong focus on road infrastructure, water and sanitation — and international companies to deliver these projects.

By contract value, only one of the top 10 contractors is Africa-based — Orasqualia Abu Rawash. Another of the top 10 contractors is headquartered in India, while the remainder are headquartered in China.
