European Union foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton has agreed to Iran’s proposed date for the resumption of multiparty nuclear energy talks but recommended to hold the first meeting in either Switzerland or Austria, the Iranian government-owned Press TV reports. Iran has communicated to Ashton that the government is willing to hold talks on Dec. 5, the news agency reports, citing a spokesperson for the EU official.
