Iran welcomes nuclear-related talks with the U.S., China, Russia and other Western countries, the country’s top nuclear negotiator has noted. Saeed Jalili said Iran sees the talks “as a ground for further interaction and cooperation,” Reuters reports. However, Jalili has emphasized that Iran is not open to giving up its nuclear rights, which Reuters says refer to the country’s uranium enrichment work. The official has also urged for an end to the Western countries’ practice of imposing sanctions on Iran while seeking a negotiated deal.
