Iraq Nabs World Bank Policy Loan

The World Bank will provide a USD200 million policy loan to help Iraq address the effects of the ongoing fiscal crisis on its economy. The USD200 million loan is the first of two policy loans, worth a total of USD500, that the World Bank is planning for Iraq.

Iraq expects to receive a USD3.6. billion loan from the International Monetary Bank.
