Ireland Commits Financial Assistance to Ethiopia

Ireland has committed 1.35 million euros (USD2 million) to the United Nations Humanitarian Relief Fund to help address the emerging food crisis in Ethiopia. The money will help U.N. agencies and nonprofits provide

, clean water and medicines to an estimated 6.2 million Ethiopians who are in need of food relief.
