An Israeli military investigation found that the death of nine Turkish aid workers in the attack on the Gaza-bound flotilla last May 31 was justified. However, the investigators faulted the military for not knowing who was on board one of the ships. The inquiry also revealed that the naval takeover was plagued by “errors of planning, intelligence and coordination,” The New York Times reports.
