The Israeli government has adopted additional measures to promote an increase in the number of export goods from the Gaza Strip. The move has been welcomed by Japan, which also expressed hope that that new measures will translate to economic growth and the improvement of living and social conditions in the Gaza Strip. Japan will closely monitor developments related to the matter, the country’s foreign ministry said.
