Israel, Germany Fund Ethiopia Irrigation Projects

The German Technical Cooperation and Israeli Center for International Cooperation have signed an agreement to help Ethiopia’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development implement irrigation projects in various Ethiopian states, Addis Fortune reports. GTZ will provide 1.5 million euros (USD2 million) for the projects, while the Israeli agency will delegate an expert to provide long-term technical assistance.
