Israel OKs Aid Passage Into Gaza

    In a first since it imposed a blockade to Gaza, Israel is allowing several truckloads of shoes and clothes to cross from its borders to the Hamas-controlled region, Reuters says. The first part of the shipment is expected to arrive in Gaza by Thursday, April 1. Israel is currently under international pressure to dissolve the blockade, which the U.N. said is negatively affecting the approximately 1.5 million people living in Gaza.
