Italy Outlines Aid Priorities for Vietnam

Italy says it will finance €34.5 million ($48.89 million) worth of development projects in Vietnam over the next three years.

The projects will focus on health care, water and sanitation, education, vocational training and economic development in the Danang, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue provinces, VOV News says, citing Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Lorenzo Angeloni.

Angeloni said his country is now supporting 21 development projects in Vietnam, with an overall investment of €76 million.
