Around 100 babies will be tested for tuberculosis at a hospital near Tokyo after a Japanese man who was unknowingly infected with TB repeatedly visited the maternity ward there to see his newborn. The hospital in Saitama City just north of Tokyo said on Wednesday that no babies have shown symptoms of the disease so far, but about 100 babies who could have come into contact with the TB bacteria would undergo X-ray tests.
