Japan Affirms Release of Philippine Aid

Japan assured the Philippines that it will provide a USD100 million loan to boost the latter's economy, 

cited a Dow Jones Newswires report. The sum will support fiscal sustainability and public spending programs implemented by the Philippine finance department. The Philippine government plans to request a further USD150 million from Japan to back other fiscal sustainability programs.
