Japan Considers Additional Aid to Jordan

Jordan may receive additional foreign aid as Japan weighs a request for supplemental financing forwarded by the Jordanian government, the Jordan Times reports. in February, Japan awarded grants worth a total of 14 million Japanese yen to support Jordan’s climate change initiatives. This is the latest of approximately 2 billion Japanese yen Jordan has received from the Japan International Cooperation Agency since 1974, when Japan opened its embassy in Amman.
