Jordan Gains More Canadian Aid for Education Project

Canada is offering another 20 million Canadian dollars (USD18 million) to support the second phase of Jordan’s Education Reform for a Knowledge Economy project.

The project aims to encourage local education-related institutions to take part in helping to enhance the school environment, upgrade curricula, and establish a unit on gender equality at the Ministry of Education.

The Canadian government had provided 20 million Canadian dollars for the first phase of the project, Jordan Times reports.
