Kenya Gets World Bank Loan for Road, Energy Projects

A USD413 million loan from the World Bank will be made available to Kenya, Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta revealed. Of the sum, USD250 million will be used to build the Mau Summit-Kisumu road,

reported. The funding also includes an USD80 million allocation for a rural energy scheme. The rest of the sum is earmarked for assisting orphans and conserving Lake Victoria.
