Kosovo’s President Fatmir Sejdiu has resigned following a court ruling that found he breached the constitution by also being a leader of a political party. Sejdiu is the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo. His resignation comes ahead of negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia. Serbia refuses to recognize Kosovo’s declaration of independence from the former in 2008, BBC reports.
