Liberia Receives Textbooks from USAID

The U.S. Agency for International Development has handed over more than 310,000 textbooks worth USD1.5 million to Liberia’s Ministry of Education.

Government primary and junior high schools throughout Liberia will use the textbooks, which cover English, math, science, and agriculture.

USAID has committed more than USD55 million in the last two years to support Liberia’s education sector, The Analyst reports.
