Liberia's procurement reforms in the spotlight

Liberia’s progress in implementing procurement reforms will be the focus of discussions among representatives of the World Bank, the government and civil society in Monrovia. The work of the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission would come under scrutiny in the Annual Procurement Forum, which carries the theme “Public Procurement and Concessions Reform In Liberia: Challenges and Prospects.” Expected participants include Rev. Erlene P. Thompson of the First United Methodist Church, Liberian Finance Minister Dr. Antoinette Sayeh and Budget Director Augustine Ngafuan as well as World Bank-Liberia Country Manager Ohene Owusu Nyanin.
