Mara Rudman is likely to be nominated as U.S. Agency for International Development assistant administrator for the Middle East, Politico’s Laura Rozen says.
Rudman currently serves as chief of staff to U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Peace George Mitchell.
Rudman is a veteran of the National Security Council, having served as its executive secretary under the administration of former President Bill Clinton and briefly under President Barack Obama.
