Mauritania increased its revenues for the first half of this year due to robust collection efforts and an upswing in economic activity, according to an International Monetary Fund mission. The mission also noted Mauritania’s strides in implementing structural reforms to promote higher, sustainable growth. The mission was in Mauritania Sept. 15-26.
