MCA Namibia Inks Textbook Supplies Contracts

    The Millennium Challenge Account Namibia disclosed it has signed contracts with seven local book publishing firms to deliver math, science and English textbooks for grades 5 to 12. Edumeds, Longman, Macmillan, NAMCOL, Pollination, Karen D’Emiljo and Zebra agreed to supply textbooks valued at USD4.7 million to 951 schools in 13 Namibian regions. The contract funding is part of the five-year, USD304.5 million compact between the Millennium Challenge Corp. and the Namibian government.
