The Millennium Challenge Corp. released on Wednesday (Nov. 9) its annual scorecard rating economic freedom, rule of law and quality of social services in low- and lower middle-income countries around the world.
The MCC scorecards measure countries’ policy performance and are designed to inform the agency’s board of directors when selecting countries eligible for MCC funding.
MCC published two scorecards for fiscal 2012: one based on old criteria and methodology used by the agency and another based on the new evaluation guidelines adopted for fiscal 2012. Both scorecards are available online.
