N. Korea aid grows, says WFP

Funding for North Korea remains short despite increasing donations over the past few months, according to the World Food Program. As of January 14, the agency has received a total of $16.25 million, up by nearly $4 million in November. The amount, however, represents just 15.9 percent of the needed sum worth $102 million. Russia sent the most funds with $5 million, followed by Switzerland with $2.57 million. (Source: WFP reports slight rise in N.K. aid but still wide gap with target amount/Yonhap)
