Nepal gets food aid from Japan



Japan agreed to provide $2.4 million in aid to address food shortages in Nepal. The package is the 18th of its kind from Japan, according to the Nepalese Ministry of Finance. Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Tsutomu Hiraoka said the aid also aims to support Nepal’s democratization efforts.
