New Power Plant Lights Up Bangladesh

    One of Bangladesh’s two new power plants is now in operation, augmenting the country’s daily power demand of 5,500 megawatts, Reuters reports. The Asian Development Bank gave USD113 million for the construction of both plants totaling USD326 million.
