Nigeria’s Parliament seeks to pass a constitutional amendment by the end of the month, which will allow presidential elections to be postponed until April. The Independent National Electoral Commission said last month it needed more time to work on the voters’ list. No new time frame for the polls, which was originally scheduled in January, can be established until amendments to the constitution are passed, Reuters reports.
