Nigeria Eyes World Bank Aid to Close Budget Deficit

The Nigerian government intends to borrow USD915 million from the World Bank to close its budget deficit, Acting President Goodluck Jonathan said. Of the sum, USD179 million will drawn in 2010 to back urban water and transport, human capacity development and power infrastructure projects, Vanguard reports.
