Nigeria Gains World Bank, UNICEF Backing

The World Bank is lending $500 million to support Nigeria reform its financial sector and public financial management in the face of the ailing global economy. UNICEF has also earmarked $1.85 million to boslter its existing nutrition initiatives in Nigeria. Part of the money will be used to establish community-based feeding stations in the African nation.
