Nigerian State Seeks USAID Assistance

    Governor Martin Elechi of the Nigerian state of Ebonyi has asked the United States Agency for International Development for assistance in the fields of agriculture, food, family planning and women’s education, Nigerian Compass reports. Elechi made the appeal during the presentation of a new proposal to add maternal mortality as a focus under the state’s child and mother care program.
