No India Visit Yet This Week for IMF Chief

International Monetary Fund Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s planned visit to India this week will not push through due to unexpected events,Thompson Reuters reports.

The news came on the heels of the issuance of an emergency rescue package to address Greece’s debt problem.

Strauss-Kahn was supposed to discuss global and regional economic conditions with Indian policymakers on a two-day visit. His spokesperson said that a new date will be set as soon as possible.
