North Korea

North Korea’s three official newspapers called for an end to the conflict between North Korea and South Korea. In a joint editorial published by the North Korean state news agency, the newspapers emphasized the need for dialogue, Reuters reports.

“Confrontation between north and south should be defused as early as possible. Active efforts should be made to create an atmosphere of dialogue and cooperation between north and south by placing the common interests of the nation above anything else,” Reuters quotes the editorial as saying.
