Obama Announces More Nominations for Key Posts

U.S. President Barack Obama announced his nominations for three key administration posts. James Entwistle has been nominated as ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He currently serves as the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. Obama also nominated Mimi Alemayehou and Johnnie Carson as members of the African Development Foundation’s board of directors. Alemayehou was most recently the U.S. executive director at the African Development Bank while Carson is currently the State Department’s assistant secretary for the Bureau of African Affairs.
