Oxfam Seeks to Reduce Sociocultural Gaps in 7 Indian States

Oxfam aims to reduce development gaps among various social and cultural groups in seven Indian states, IANS reports. Under its 2010-2015 strategy for India, Oxfam said it will seek to address the widening divide between the developed and underdeveloped population in the states of Assam, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
