Pakistan Forfeits USD400 Million ADB Credit

The Asian Development Bank dropped a USD400 million interest-free loan to strengthen the judicial system of Punjab province due to the slow progress in implementing the initiative. The funding is supposed to back the creation of new transparency schemes, build infrastructure and provide computers to the judiciary, police, prosecution and prisons departments in the Pakistani region.
