PepsiCo Foundation Backs IDB Fund on Water, Sanitation

    The PepsiCo Foundation is granting $5 million to AquaFund, a fund launched by the Inter-American Development Bank to support investments in water supply and sanitation, water resources, solid waste management and wastewater treatment.

    The grant will be used to provide microcredit loans for safe water and sanitation projects in Latin America. 

    PepsiCo is the first private sector donor to AquaFund.
