Philippines a Top Aid Priority for Korea

South Korea will prioritize the Philippines for overseas aid allocation in 2010 to 2013, a top Philippine official said according to the Business Mirror. Philippine National Economic Development Authority Deputy Director Roland Tungpalan said South Korea is willing increase its aid spending in the Philippines over the next three years. In 2007 to 2009, the East Asian country spent up to USD300 million in development aid to the Philippines.
