Philippines Eyes JICA Loan for Post-storm Reconstruction

The Philippines will borrow up to 5 billion Philippine pesos (USD112 million) from the Japan International Cooperation Agency to fund the rehabilitation of key infrastructure damaged by the strong storms that hit the country in late 2009, Inquirer reports. JICA earlier agreed to support the Philippines’ rebuilding efforts.
