U.S.-based international development firm Management Systems International has been awarded a U.S. Agency for International Development service contract to support Ghana’s efforts to strengthen its monitoring and evaluation practices.
The $18 million requirements contract will be performed over a five-year period. Under the contract, MSI may receive either Firm-Fixed-Price or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee task orders for the Evaluate for Health in Ghana project from the USAID Mission in Ghana.
The project aims to strengthen Ghana’s M&E performance by focusing on three core areas: assessments, performance evaluation assistance and research management for local capacity. Stronger M&E is needed to improve aid effectiveness and strengthen partnerships with other donor agencies and international organizations.
MSI will provide M&E and related capacity building services to the USAID Mission in Ghana’s Health Population and Nutrition Office, implementing partners, partner country government institutions and local nongovernmental organizations.
