As a case manager at Hennepin County, I assisted Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) recipients who have experienced employment barriers for getting job, shelter, transportation, and developing resume. I used the five phases of case management skills (Assessment, setting plan, developing and gathering tangible resources, flowing up, and recording) where each of them has specific goals and outcomes. My MFIP management skills of planning, providing consultation to families with barriers to housing, and working with teams to deliver the mission and the vision of the organization are strongly emphasized meeting the needs of your organization.
