Quake-Hit Areas in China Gains Japan Aid

    The Japanese government will contribute USD1.35 million to back development projects in Chinese communities damaged by the May 12 earthquake,

    reported. The assistance will help build two primary schools, one medical clinic, and a disease control and prevention building. It will also be used to purchase medical equipment, 20 ambulances, and drinking water supplies.
