There is a need “to engage the private sector more fully, not just as a source of donations but also as a source of key skills and technologies, during and after crises,” the report said. In December, United Nations humanitarian chief John Holmes callled on the humanitarian community to bolster its collaboration with the private sector, AlertNet reports.
