Millions of people in the developing world could go hungry if the European Union increases the use of renewable fuel, particularly biofuels, as planned, View London reports, quoting a recent study from international organization ActionAid. Authors of the report explain that biofuel production may increase food prices in the developing world, leaving at least 100 million people hungry. The authors add that increased worldwide use of biofuel can affect up to 600 million people.
