Robert Zoellick Travels to Bulgaria, Latvia, Moldova

World Bank President Robert Zoellick is expected to travel to Bulgaria, Latvia and Moldova from Aug. 9-13. Zoellick will meet with various officials from the government, business sector and civil society to discuss development issues and the global economic crisis’ impact on the three countries. His agenda also includes visits to World Bank project sites.

In Bulgaria, Zoellick will be accompanied by Kristalina Georgieva, the European commissioner for international cooperation, humanitarian aid and crisis response.
