Romania SMEs Obtain EIB Backing

The European Investment Bank is lending 140 million euros ($200 million) to assist Romanian small and medium-sized enterprises amid economic woes. Two local subsidiaries of Greece's EFG Eurobank SA will administer the loan, which will be made available to domestic SMEs in sectors including agriculture and tourism,
