Serbian Firms Gain EBRD Energy Backing

The

unveiled a new credit facility for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in Serbia. The first loan of EUR10 million (USD14 million) will be administered by Banca Intesa Belgrade to provide loans to private Serbian firms. The facility is complemented by a EUR13.5 million grant from the European Union to back incentives for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
